Queen Vic & I’ve always wanted to be a Princess Lynda !

Here’s some entertainment – mostly provided by you of course at our beloved épicerie!! The nights out, parties, concerts and after-works at the épicerie were the best – even if I often arrived on the road home from Montpel as everyone was getting their coats on – but you always made sure I had company!! Sometimes some folks needed a help on their way home and sometimes we spilled over into the Guinguette, wheel barrae in all – we feasted like royalty (ate a lot of cheese with MC), danced like nutters (well we did whilst you grafted so we could), brought the Gay Gordons to Saint Privat (sure they are delighted), sang Johnny Hallyday as best we could and laughed like best mates doing lama walks should !

Of course we can’t not mention Slag adventures!! Just a couple of slags cutting about on the Lac!

Then of course came the stairs of social distance – big heart out to them, cheers mate!!

Not sure why you would leave sleepy Saint Privat for a fabulous new Lodeve life – where you clearly had fun doing up your gorge house – but thankfully you came back from time to time for a wee bit of Cullen – stinkity – skink

and of course keeping up the royal theme – we are of course always honored to have Queen Vic at a classic (kind of) Garden Party

Much love mate from me and the folks in Hawick and Saint P

  1. Saint Privat would not have been the same for me without the cheese & wine nights with you two! A little glory with the two unforgettable first alcoholic vomits of my life following these evenings, and the debates the following day over who had put what in whose pocket: a piece of bread, cheese, and other questionable remains…
